Founded in 1933, the Federation of Industries of Minas Gerais (FIEMG) contributes to the development of the State of Minas Gerais by fostering a competitive, innovative and sustainable local industry, capable of generating jobs and wealth in a way that places the region in the spotlight in Brazil.
FIEMG represents dozens of business areas that meet various demands of the industry and society of Minas Gerais. The Federation is composed of the following entities: Industrial and Business Center of Minas Gerais (CIEMG), Social Service of Industry (SESI), National Service of Industrial Learning (SENAI) and Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL).
Together, these entities offer the mining industry strategies for industrial development and workforce training, including preparing new generations for the industry of the future. FIEMG’s performance represents the industrial interests of all municipalities in Minas Gerais, as its capillarity occurs via Regionals, SESI and SENAI Units and strategically distributed institutes.
The Federation, therefore, organizes itself to act in such a way that it aggregates the demands of the mining industry, while dealing with internal demands and optimizing its own actions. For this organization to be possible, FIEMG needs to have intelligent and integrated solutions – that is why the entity chose iSend to facilitate the day-to-day operations.
Dozens of organizations are part of the Federation, but each one has specific needs in an environment that requires autonomy to manage themselves individually every day. Like FIESP, FIEMG also uses iSend to manage a macro scenario that involves many entities, while providing individualized service to each one.
Both Federations optimize their performance in the same way: by creating individual Cost Centers on the iSend platform, in an environment that allows integration with different services that qualify internal and external relationships, such as sending SMS and E-mail Marketing. This is because entities understand that it is more efficient to have all information on a single platform.
According to Flávia Bastos, Communication Analyst at FIEMG, a differential for this organization to flow well is the intuitive use of iSend: “One thing that I think is very cool is the ease of including administrators in the tool and designating which Cost Center they will participate in, segmenting what kind of features I will give them the right to touch. That’s very simple to do.”
Communication Analyst Gabriela Dutra dos Santos complements by stating that these features are important to maintain the privacy of each sector and each entity within iSend. In other words: FIEMG’s Digital Communication sector is able to access all Cost Centers, mailings and manage users, while determining which tools and contact lists each agency of the Federation can have access to.
Every effective SMS and E-mail Marketing strategy needs an opt-in and opt-out system to comply with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Increasing the contact base using opt-in also ensures better delivery rates, as messages are not considered spam by email servers.
FIEMG also finds these resources in the iSend system and uses them very well, through forms in lead capture campaigns executed on the Federation’s social networks.
To give you an idea of the robustness of the work, the Digital Communication sector sends an average of 5 emails per day to bases of approximately 15 thousand people. Flávia and Gabriela explain that they use iSend reports to constantly improve their Email Marketing strategy.
They report that they have already used other tools separately to have features that iSend offers on a single platform. However, the automation and sending reports, in addition to the ease of assembling messages through templates, were differentials that made FIEMG trust iSend to meet the voluminous demands every day.
In this way, iSend facilitates FIEMG’s relationship with all stakeholders, contributing to the Federation’s service being agile and efficient.
Another possibility that FIEMG enjoys on a recurring basis is the integration of the digital magazine publishing platform with the sending of E-mail Marketing. According to Gabriela, about 10 magazines are published using iSend currently.
One of them is the Integrity Magazine, which is part of FIEMG’s awareness actions regarding the LGPD and in favor of the digital security of customers and partners.
ISEND DIFFERENCE
It is not only the integrated resources that must be able to meet the robust demands of a Federation like FIEMG. Technical support also needs to be responsive and efficient. And this iSend is proud to know that it is successfully achieved every day!
Gabriela highlights the agility of the service as a differential of iSend. Flávia agrees and adds: “(The service) It’s not just sending a step-by-step guide. You take it and do it with us to solve our problems. I work with many tools that I can’t get this facility offered by iSend”.
Another point that FIEMG’s Digital Communication professionals highlight is the possibility of suggesting automation and usability improvements that can further optimize day-to-day tasks. “Everything that is talked about with the support is usually implemented,” says Flávia.
Therefore, in addition to being a tool with several features on a single platform, iSend is also a resilient customer partner that customizes itself as new needs arise.
