On May 7, 2026, the iSend Team, represented by the Executive Director, Deivis Tavares, the Operational Director, Fabiane Criscuoli and the International Assistant, Amanda Criscuoli Tavares, was present at the event: “From Campus to Venture: 25 years of Tech Entrepreneurship, Investment & Innovation at La Salle Technova Barcelona, connecting Barcelona with Silicon Valley”.
The event in celebration of the 25th anniversary of La Salle’s entrepreneurship and technological innovation ecosystem was an initiative of La Salle Technova Barcelona and took place in the Auditorium of La Salle Campus Barcelona, bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, students and alumni, in order to build a debate on how academic ideas can reach startups. And it featured the speech of Josep M. Piqué, Executive President of LaSalle Technova Barcelona.
The meeting was divided into three parts: Masterclass “The Path to Growth” with Dr. Jerome Engel from UC Berkeley Hass, talking about connections between Barcelona and Silicon Valley, innovation and business growth. Roundtable “From Technova to Scaleups”, on how the incubator, formed by students and ecosystem leaders, helped startups. Roundtable “The New Generation of Builders”, on AI, future and digital startups, in which Dr. Jerome Engel, Carlos Galán founder of Mentor, Cristina Grau co-founder of Twintual and Max López co-founder of Glimmer participated.
